Urban Decay x Marvels Eternals Eyeshadow Palette Reviews & Swatches
Urban Decay Eternals Marvel Studios Eyeshadow Palette ($65.00 for 0.45 oz.) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow palette for the holiday season that included seven (mostly) matte shades complemented by eight shimmery shades. I found the quality to be all over the place, but oddly, the mattes were harder to blend out; sometimes Urban Decay's matte eyeshadows are powdery, but they tend to blend out fine, so it was unexpected. The shimmers tended to be drier or sheerer and would be more usable for someone who always uses their shimmer eyeshadows wet. In a way, it's exactly what I feel Continue Reading…

Terra Moons Space Case, The Cosmos, Solar Expansion Extreme Multichrome Shadows Reviews & Swatches
Terra Moons Space Case Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) seemed to have a greener base with an intense, multichromatic shift that went from warmer, olive gold to lime green to pale periwinkle to plummy-purple. The eyeshadow had a smooth, metallic sheen that was shiny but did a great job of showcasing the shift in a variety of lighting--no hunting for those shifts at all. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable, though it was more loosely-pressed in the pan, so I'd recommend using a lighter hand when working with it, but the formula itself had a good amount Continue Reading…

Urban Decay Brilliance & Ancient Lip Eclipses Reviews & Swatches
Urban Decay Brilliance Lip Eclipse Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.06 oz.) has a sheer, peachy-gold base with flecks of lighter and darker gold micro-glitter throughout. The brand described this shade as "sheer," so it was in line with how it was marketed. The texture was lightweight, thin, and lightly emollient with more of an oily slip, so it was harder to keep on and had a tendency to gravitate toward my lip lines over time. It was very sparkly, and the thinner texture made it apparent in feel whenever I pressed my lips together. It stayed on well for two and Continue Reading…
